Sample Workflow

Create on the Fly... In No Time

Quick Click Appeal

Simply start with a map in ArcGIS containing any surface (DEMs), well features, or soil bores for cross section inclusion. Then draw a line on the map where you want your cross section to be, click the CrossView button, and you’re instantly ready to go. Your line can even be a zig zag with multiple vertices. CrossView allows you to use any surfaces including land, bedrock, or water surface elevations and represent them as shaded cross sections.

Point locations such as wells and bores can also be symbolized as line features to show their depths and other attributes. In addition, all input fields can be copied directly to your output file so the symbols in your cross sections can mimic any map with which you’re working. CrossView even retains data that lies within its buffer zone, making it easier to predict and problem solve in near real time.
