Software Origins

Necessity, Simplicity & Utility.

The CrossView Inspiration

Frustrated by the time exhausting process of switching software programs to achieve cross section detail for topographic, geologic and hydrologic profile visualizations, the developers of CrossView were compelled to fill this gap between GIS and CAD or Illustrator.

A-Prime Software began developing a product that would simply enhance ESRI’s features without creating an entirely new GIS software platform that would take users precious time to learn.

Where Have You Been All My Life?

With simplicity to guide it, CrossView became actualized in the form of all great innovations—an easy, fluid product that will make you wonder where it’s been hiding all along.

Unavailable until now, CrossView has the potential to advance the GIS trade by delivering a fundamental cartographic tool that streamlines your mapping and diagramming workflow while unearthing new perspectives for your GIS presentations. Equipped with the ease and flexibility desired by anyone working within ESRI’s ArcGIS products, CrossView dramatically improves the visualization creation process and delivers powerful presentation options for cartographic projects of all kinds.

A fine example of what cutting edge technology should represent, CrossView will make you understand instantly why less is so much more.

  • No more handing off projects in full just for a simple cross section.
  • Visually represent data in seconds!
  • Work exclusively within ArcGIS workflow;
  • Directly output an accurate, spatially adjusted cross section diagram for final finishing in almost any drawing application.
  • No more spatially adjusting data for CAD finishing (labeling, symbolizing, coloring, etc);
  • No more switching back and forth between GIS and CAD software;
  • Smoothly create spatial presentations of the surface and subsurface geography.
